Big Shamus, Little Shamus was a detective drama, by Lorimar. Brian Dennehy plays Arnie Sutter, a house detective in an Atlantic City hotel that is being converted into a casino. A big conglomerate has taken over and Arnie's old-fashioned ways are a nuisance to the slick new security chief. Arnie's 13-year-old son, Max, played by Doug McKeon. He tags along and usually arrives at a solution before his slow-thinking father.
