Isabelle’s Mom reads her the fable “The Tortoise and the Hare,” inspiring Isabelle and Charlie to take an imaginary trip to the Galapagos Islands to challenge Lonesome George, the world’s oldest giant tortoise of his subspecies, to a race. Charlie soon realizes that he is more interested in becoming Lonesome George’s friend than his competitor. Songs and dances include “Blue Footed Boobies,” “Iguana,” “Galapagos” and “Big Green Machine.”
