It was the first time flirtatious Melanie had been up for eviction, and just 7 days before the finale she so desperatley wanted to reach came around, she was choosen to leave. In the penultimate task, the contestants are a mess and fail to win. They miss out on a huge shopping budget, and must make-do with only the bare essentials for the following week. Jade complains to Big Brother in the diary room, in the hope her pleas for a big shopping trolley full of delicious food and drink will not be in vain. They are.
The housemates shopping arrives, and since they failed thier task - it's less than impressive. Once again, they appeal to Big Brother for some sort of a treat or gift to help the strain of a tiny shopping budget, but they leave the diary room without success.
