Beyhadh is a romantic thriller showcasing lives of Maya, Arjun and Saanjh. Arjun and Saanjh are dancing in front of Ganesha idol, while Maya enters the venue and bows down before the deity. Saanjh’s parents advise her to marry Arjun. However, Saanjh clears it to them that Arjun is not her boyfriend. Next morning, Saanjh wakes Arjun up from sleep and reminds him of his job interview.
Arjun enters Maya’s office for a job interview. He impresses Maya with his confidence and charm. On the other hand, Saanjh tells her family that she is eagerly waiting to meet Arjun. Maya offers Arjun a job in her company. Later, Arjun’s family congratulate him for getting a new job.

Arjun meets Maya in front of a small temple. He promises Maya to that he would fulfil all her wishes. Ashwin plans to ruin Maya's wedding. Jhanvi vows to prevent Ashwin from causing any harm to Maya. Later, Arjun informs Vandana that Maya has demanded seven promises from him. Saanjh decides to participate in Arjun’s wedding.

Arjun and Maya come to Vandana’s house. Saanjh gifts honeymoon tickets to the newly married couple. Vandana tells Saanjh that she should not have forced Arjun and Maya to go abroad for honeymoon. Arjun and Maya get ready to go to Switzerland for their honeymoon. A policeman comes to Janhavi’s house. He tells Arjun and Maya that they can not leave the city until the investigation of Ashwin’s death is completed.
A policeman informs Saanjh that Ashwin has been murdered. He presents Ashwin’s post-mortem report to Saanjh. The police arrest Arjun, Maya and Janhavi and bring them to the police station. The police interrogate them separately and force them to confess the crime. Arjun learns that Ashwin was murdered by injecting an injection in his body.

Rajiv calls Maya and asks her to sing a song for him. Later, He forces her to come to his house. He tells Maya that he would reveal her past to her family if she doesn’t follow his instructions. Maya comes to Rajiv’s house. Rajiv asks Maya to wear bridal dress.

Maya gets a miscarriage after falling from the stairs. Arjun is completely shattered and blames his mother for the incident. Police comes to arrest Arjun's mother after Maya filed a case of domestic violence. However, Arjun told the police that Maya is mentally ill and asks them to go back.
Arjun loses his cool and tells Maya that he doesn't care for her anymore and that their relationship was a mere adjustment. He wants everyone to leave him alone. Vandana expresses her guilt to Saanjh and asks her to take care of Arjun.
Maya follows Vandana back home to kill her. Maya tells her that Bandar was the bond between her and Arjun and Vandanda was responsible to break it. Meanwhile, Ayan comes out of coma and informs Saanjh that Maya tried to kill him and she should call police before something serious happens.
Saanjh hurries back to Vandana's apartment to save her. Upon reaching the apartment, Saanjh is relieved to find Vandana sleeping in her bed. She immediately calls up Ayan and tells him that Vandana is alright. After cutting the call, Saanjh cuddles near Vandana but to her utter shock, she finds that Vandana has no pulse.
Maya provokes Arjun to kill her. In a fit of rage, Arjun attacks Maya. Maya explains to Arjun that she does not regret killing the one responsible for the death of her unborn child. Then, Arjun loses his cool and pushes Maya. Arjun, too, falls on the ground and loses consciousness. Maya hits her head onto a table and bleeds profusely.
The police arrest Arjun for Maya's murder. Ayaan and Saanjh are in disbelief about the entire incident. The police suspect that Arjun murdered Maya for financial gains. Later, in the police station, Ayaan claims that Arjun is being framed. But, Arjun makes a startling claim by stating that he killed Maya.

Meanwhile, at school, Arohi sees Maya coming out of the store room. She questions Maya about the need to access the store room, which is out of bounds for the staff. Later, Lalwani arrives at Arjun’s factory and mixes a substance in the solution.
Lalwani does his job and escapes before Arjun can catch hold of him. Aarohi bumps into Maya and finds her to be secretive. Jhanvi arrives at the school but fails to find Aarohi.
