David begins seeing a psychiatrist and tries to make amends with Donna. He tries to take time off from his radio show, but Steve proves to be completely incompetent as a fill-in. David steals drugs from Howard's desk and returns to the airwaves high. Andrea confesses her pregnancy to Brandon and Kelly; but has difficulty telling Jesse, who has just been offered a clerkship in San Francisco. The university names Brandon as its representative on a national task force. Suzanne takes a waitress job at the Peach Pit. Nat collapses with a heart attack, and Dylan and Brandon save his life with CPR. Nat's cousin Joey, an equal partner, wants to sell the Peach Pit. Brandon fears that Nat will have nothing to live for without the Peach Pit. He ignores his father's advice and decides to run the diner in Nat's absence. Cindy enrolls in California University to pursue her master's degree. Suzanne diventa una cameriera del Peach Pit grazie a Dylan. Dopo aver pensato all'aborto, Andrea dice a Jesse della gravidanza e il ragazzo ne è felice. Nat ha un attacco di cuore e deve essere sottoposto ad un'operazione di by-pass. Il cugino di Nat che possiede il 50% del Peach Pit suggerisce di vendere il locale, ma Brandon e gli altri amici decidono di prenderlo in gestione. Brenda aiuta la madre ad ambientarsi all'università. David decide di tornare con Donna. Steve copre David alla stazione radio ma fa un pessimo lavoro. Brandon viene scelto come rappresentante degli studenti per la Task Force.

Andrea le confiesa a Brandon y Kelly que está embarazada, pero teme decírselo a Jesse ya que le acaban de ofrecer un puesto de trabajo en San Francisco. Suzanne acepta un trabajo como camarera del Peach Pit, mientras a Nat le da un ataque cardíaco, por lo que debe ser ingresado. Un familiar de Nat les confiesa que va a vender el Peach Pit ya que Nat no está en condiciones de seguir trabajando en él, y Brandon temeroso de que le quiten el local a Nat decide abrirlo él mismo, a pesar de que su padre se lo desaconseje. Cindy decide asistir a la Universidad de California. La Universidad nombra a Brandon como su representante en tarea de fuerza nacional.
