Alle sind im Lernstress und da Brenda sich durch Dylan nur zu gerne ablenken lässt, schleppt sie ihn ins Peach Pit, um dort zu lernen. Das gelingt ihr auch. Als sie später alleine dort sitzt während Dylan und Brandon den Müll rausbringen, wird sie überfallen und mit einer Waffe bedroht.
Fortan spielt Brenda das Geschehene herunter, ignoriert die Alpträume und Warnzeichen. Bis sie schließlich mitten in der Prüfung zusammenbricht.
The gang stays at the Peach Pit after hours to study for midterms. Brenda is left alone while Brandon and Dylan take out the recycling. A gunman enters through the unlocked door, holds a rifle to her head, and forces her to empty the cash register. Brenda puts on a brave front for family and friends, but suffers nightmares and behaves erratically. She has a flashback during a midterm, screams, and runs out of the classroom. A psychiatrist helps her begin to deal with her fears. Brenda reluctantly views a police line-up, resulting in the arrest of the 17-year-old gunman. I ragazzi devono studiare per gli esami e alcuni di loro decidono di farlo al Peach Pit dove Andrea si prende gioco di Steve. Brandon, Brenda e Dylan rimangono fino alla chiusura. Mentre Dylan e Brandon escono fuori per gettare la spazzatura, un uomo entra al Peach Pit con l'intento di rubare e punta una pistola a Brenda: la ragazza è costretta a dare tutti i soldi della cassa e a sdraiarsi per terra. Il giorno seguente Brenda continua ad avere degli incubi credendo di vedere ovunque quell'uomo il che le impedisce di concentrarsi sugli esami per cui decide di consultare uno specialista. Tutti gli amici le stanno vicino quando viene convocata per un riconoscimento.
