Samia comes from a lower class family, in a household controlled by men, and suffers from domestic violence. She is controlled by her brother Hamid, a corrupt young man who, despite being several years younger than her, exercises control over her. When the academy opens its doors, and she is accepted through Marwan, and hides the matter from her family.
