When Ben and Kate's father, Randy, pays an unexpected visit, chaos ensues. Kate starts asking big questions about herself and her life trajectory, causing a big fight between her and BJ. Meanwhile, Ben confronts his dad about all the things they never did together, as they search, with Tommy, to finally find and accost Maddie's dad for running out on Kate.

Quando il padre di Ben e Kate arriva inaspettatamente a trovare i figli, il caos prende subito il sopravvento: Kate inizia a fare domande difficili sulla vita, Ben a recriminare sulle mancanze del padre.

Ben et Kate reçoivent la visite de leur père. Ce dernier est de retour car il souhaite retrouver le père de Maddie et lui donner une correction. Il entraîne Ben avec lui. En planque, père et fils se rendent compte qu'ils n'ont jamais frappé personne et décident de s'entraîner l'un sur l'autre... De son côté, après avoir menti à son père, Kate se lance dans le bénévolat...
