Beauty and the Beast

Nach einem brutalen Überfall wird die Staatsanwältin Catherine Chandler von Vincent gefunden, der halb Mensch und halb Löwe ist und mit vielen anderen Aussteigern in einem unterirdischen System unter New York wohnt. Ein Mann, der Vater genannt wird, leitet die dortige Gemeinschaft, zu deren Mitgliedern Kipper und Mouse gehören. In dieser unterirdischen Gemeinschaft pflegt Vincent Catherine, bis ihre Wunden geheilt sind. Die beiden verlieben sich und müssen sich nach Catherines Rückkehr ins oberirdische New York heimlich treffen, weil niemand das Biest Vincent sehen soll.

Beauty and the Beast is a story that tells just how powerful love is. The show takes place in New York. Catherine Chandler is a wealthy woman who thinks that her life has no meaning beyond anything superficial. She longs for something more. Vincent is from a different world. He lives below the city in tunnels that have been forgotten. He must stay hidden because of his appearance. Though his appearance is different he has the heart of a man. He and Catherine share a bond that is stronger than friendship or love. Somehow they want to make their love work. Neither one of them knows how, but they are determined and refuse to give up.

Catherine Chandler, jeune avocate de la haute société New Yorkaise, est agressée et laissée pour morte dans Central Park. Elle est sauvée par Vincent, une créature mi-homme mi-bête, qui l'emmène dans son monde souterrain, afin de la soigner. Dans ce monde, câché du reste des humains, vit une communauté d'exclus. Guérie, Catherine retourne dans son monde en promettant de garder le secret. Elle devient assistante du procureur de Manhattan, et chaque fois que ses enquêtes la mettent en danger, Vincent, uni à elle par un mystérieux lien mental, vient à son aide.

Aggredita e data per morta, Catherine viene invece salvata da uno strano personaggio, Vincent, un uomo col volto di leone, che abita un mondo di cunicoli nel sottosuolo di Manhattan. Tra i due si stabilisce un fortissimo legame che, nonostante l'impossibilità di un contatto fisico, si trasforma in amore. E Vincent è sempre pronto a intervenire in soccorso di Catherine in caso di bisogno.

Catherine Chandler is een welgestelde officier van justitie uit New York. Op een dag wordt ze overvallen en meegenomen, waarna ze achtergelaten wordt in een park. Vincent, een zonderling die leeft in de vergeten tunnels onder de stad, neemt haar mee naar zijn verblijfplaats waar ze kan herstellen. Catherine neemt daarna haar leven weer op, maar blijft contact houden met Vincent, die haar empathisch aanvoelt en haar af en toe komt redden uit benarde situaties. Zo groeit er een hechte band tussen de twee.

Catherine Chandler é uma mulher rica que pensa que sua vida não tem significado além de qualquer coisa superficial. Ela anseia por algo mais. Vincent é de um mundo diferente.
