The first part of the tour on disc 1 is reserved for Germany. The Bavarian city of Bamberg, with its Old Town has the largest intact historic centre of Germany. The historically and culturally significant city of Speyer in the Upper Rhine, with his imperial and St. Mary's Cathedral, the world's largest Romanesque church still sustaining.
Disc 2 gives the contribution of Austria. First, the diverse landscape of the region Hallstatt-Dachstein/Salzkammergut with its unique cave systems, to see the other individual listed Schonbrunn Palace.
Disc 3 focuses on the cool England. Of course, including the centre point of this part of the edition is a report about the fabulous Royal Botanic Garden, which has no equal. It reveals a diversity of plant life, the audience is through the skilful camera work brought right into the living room. The report of Westminster is the objective counterpart of the first part.
On Disc 4 is reported on the Cities Orange and Avignon in southern France. While the city of Orange for its numerous Roman buildings, particularly the well-preserved theatre and the Triumphal Arch, is known, Avignon boasts magnificent medieval buildings and the surrounding majestic ramparts.
Disc 5 introduces the audience to Spain. Seville, capital of Andalusia, gives an insight into the wealth of attractions that this city is home. Santiago de Compostela, Galicia's capital city and the end of the pilgrimage, shows that they in no way inferior. In particular, the images from the old town with the cathedral and St. James are worth seeing.
Disc 6 starts with a visit to Morocco Marrakech. Major tourist attractions and the typical bazaars characterize the cityscape. Then when you go on to the Ksar of Morocco. The traditional rural settlements reflect the life of the Berbers of North Africa.
After the visit to Morocco, it is on disc 7 in the beautiful Czech Republic. Here we are witness to the contradictions of the country. After visiting the cultural city of Prague with us your splendour is also the simple country life of the village Krumlow presented.
On Disc 8 the beauty of Hungary will be brought closer. The report shows a lot about the city of Budapest, the Hungarian culture and mentality, while the images presented in the National Park of Hortobqagy an insight into the fantastic scenery in the country.
And on it goes to the Far West: Disc 9 is devoted to the centre of Mexico: Mexico City. This offers a fascinating mixture of first and third world economic and trade centre, the cultural melting pot, from ultra modern to very old, super-rich and very poor.
Disc 10 with Havana, Pearl of the Caribbean and the capital of Cuba and Trinidad, a former sugar metropolis Cuba, rounds out this wonderful edition.

On disc 2 is all in neighboring Germany, to Würzburg and Reichenau. Würzburg Wurzburg Residence next to the other attractions, such as to offer the Marienberg fortress and cathedral St.Kilian. Reichenau include a visit to the monastery island of Reichenau is a must. Especially the wall paintings of the church Obernzell are a real highlight.
Disc 3 with the trip south goes to Portugal. The second largest city in Portugal, situated on the banks of the Douro Oporto ("the Port") provides insight into the diversity of their cultural and scientific sites. However holds Guimares, the first capital of the country Portugal with the nickname "cradle of the nation" with its historically significant town.
On Disc 5 reports the cities of Lyon and Bordeaux in France. Lyon is the third largest city in France and has been recognized for its old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bordeaux in the southwest, in spite of the distance to the sea (about 50 km) to the main port of Brest on the Atlantic coast. Bordeaux but has gained notoriety through his Bordeaux wine and cuisine.
The 9 Sacred Mountains of Italy offer not only the destination for many pilgrims but also for reporting on the sixth disc The Sacred Mountains ("Holy Mountain") are in Northern Italy and are spacious sanctuaries and chapel buildings, which were built on mountains and lakes. Disc 9 leads to Italy again. The town of Alberobello is famous for its trulli (Kegelbauten). The trulli lead back to the construction of shepherds and were built to save taxes because they were not considered real houses. Entire neighbourhoods Alberobello today remain exclusively from these Kegelbauten. Then continue on the Cinque Terre (five lands), a wonderful coastline of the Italian Riviera, is due to the prohibition of structural changes yet wonderfully natural.
Last part of our trip to disc 10 carries to Poland. Torun is located northwest of Warsaw and is known for its old town with many buildings in the style of northern German brick gothic. Awareness of Torun was the famous son, the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus still significantly increased. The city is home to the Malbork Castle Malbork ("Marienburg") the largest medieval castle in Europe and can still get a taste of the past.
