Con ayuda de un artefacto y la mitad de la chispa de Rampante, Megatron logra crear un Dinobot transmetalico. Cheetah interviene y consigue el aparato alienígena, pero recibe los efectos de esta y desaparece. Manta Raya quien se encontraba por ahí, se apodera del artefacto y lo deja en el Arca. Luego es capturado por Megatron, obligándolo a devolver el artefacto. Pero una bestia extraña aparece para atacar a los Predacones.
