Viewers are invited to join Dame Shirley Bassey for a special night of entertainment, ahead of her 80th birthday. The event is hosted by her great friend, and one of her biggest fans, comedian David Walliams. The one-off special features a lavish mix of entertainment, comedy, surprises and live music. Dame Shirley performs a selection of her best-loved classics, including Goldfinger and I'm Still Here, backed by a live studio orchestra. She is joined for a special duet by Classical Brit award-winning vocal group Blake. David interviews Dame Shirley in a walk through her life, from little-known stories to highlights from her music career to date. Dame Shirley also talks about some of her most famous dresses and joins David in some comedy sketches. With archive footage from her early appearances on TV, her headline set at Glastonbury and highlights from The Shirley Bassey Show.
