Basquash!

The story takes place in the world of "Earth Dash" Above the planet's surface lies the lunar city, Mooneyes. It serves as both a symbol of hope and a dream for the people of Earth Dash, and holograms are regularly projected from the city's lights. The story begins in one city on Earth Dash, Rollingtown. Dan JD is a hotblooded young man who goes around vandalizing the city as Dunk Mask, swearing revenge against the sport of Bigfoot Basketball, the latest craze. Bigfoots, which have replaced cars on Earth Dash, are giant, lumbering mecha that are used for everything from ambulances to police cars to the basketball game Dan hates, because one of them maimed his sister Coco years ago. One day, Dan meets a mechanic who recently returned to Rollingtown, and knows all about the Bigfoots. Her name is Miyuki Ayukawa, and, to Dan's surprise, she's his childhood friend. Miyuki teaches Dan how to pilot one of the Bigfoots, and Dan, as Dunk Mask, goes to show Rollingtown how real basketball is played. In doing so, he causes massive property damage and is thrown in jail for a year. When he's finally free, he discovers that Bigfoot Street Basketball has become the new trend sport and Dunk Mask has become a legend. Recent developments strongly suggest that there's more to the Moon, the sport of Basquash, and Dan's signature playstyle than you'd think...

L'histoire se déroule sur la planète Earthdash (Sprint-Terre). Les "Sprint-Terriens" vivent sous la lumière de leur cité lunaire Mooneyes. Dan JD est une tête brûlée habitant à Rollingtown, à la surface de la planète. Il déteste le "Big Foot Basketball" alias "BFB", pourtant le sport le plus populaire. Le BFB est un genre de basket-ball joué à bord de "Big Foot" (des robots aux grandes chaussures). Mais nous sommes loin du basketball et ça s'avère très ennuyant. Ses amis et lui, tous déjantés, se révoltent contre ce sport. Ils détestent les Big Foot et encore plus le BFB, au point que Dan est le "Dunker Masqué", le casseur rebelle recherché. Son rêve est de révolutionner le BFB pour que ce soit du véritable basketball : celui auquel jouait sa petite sœur avant de perdre l'usage de ses jambes. Dan rencontre une mécanicienne mystérieuse qui le fait monter à bord d'un Big Foot. Et c'est à partir de là que Dan entre dans la légende. Il ne nous reste plus qu'à découvrir ce qu'est le "Basquash".

どこかの宇宙のどこかの銀河。上空に月が浮かぶ惑星アースダッシュでは、競技用ビッグフットでプレイをする「ビッグフットバスケ（BFB）」が人々を夢中にさせていた。ビッグフットを憎むダンは、ある時ビッグフットに乗せられたことをきっかけに、次第にその感覚に魅了されていく。ここからダンの伝説が始まった…！

На параллельной Земле цивилизация пришла в упадок. Хозяева жизни переселились на Луну – в Мунайз, город мечты, который каждую ночь манит небесными огнями простой земной народ, коротающий век в разрушающихся каменных джунглях. В Роллертауне - одном из земных поселений – живет молодой бунтарь и бродяга Дан, больше всего на свете желающий попасть на Луну. Но мечты – одно, а реальность – совсем другое, в ней Дан вместе с верным зверьком-симбиотом Спанки и корешами-подельниками Ганзом и Беллом крутится, как может, чтобы заработать на хлеб себе и больной сестре Коко. Плохо бы парень кончил, да подруга детства – механик-любитель Миюки - предложила сыграть в баскетбол на Большеногом. Все дело в том, что среди любимых зрелищ Роллертауна числится «Баско» - игра в баскетбол на шагающих роботах, которых все зовут «Большеногие». Это самая продвинутая техника, разрешенная землянам небесными хозяевами, и «Большеногие» используются везде – от строительных работ до патрулирования улиц. Миюки вместе с дядюшкой Сойти делают уникального робота, который позволит Дану проявить свой баскетбольн

Los habitantes del planeta Earthdash siempre han admirado con gran asombro la luna y su ciudad Mooneyes, cuya tecnología alcanza límites inimaginables. Dan JD, el protagonista, es un niño que vive en Rollingtown, en la superficie de Earthdash, y que sueña con llegar algún día a la luna. Con el fin de ver cumplido su sueño, se verá obligado a jugar Bigfoot Basketball - un deporte súper dinámico similar al baloncesto cuyos jugadores deben montar sobre unos robots gigantes denominados Bigfoots .

빅풋이라는, 자동차에 팔다리가 달린 형태의 로봇으로 농구를 하는 스포츠인 '바스쿼슈'를 중심으로 하는 내용이다. 이것만 들으면 스포츠물로 들리지만, 실상 내용은 SF 드라마에 가깝다. 마크로스 프런티어와 마찬가지로 메카들이 3D로 제작되었으며, 역시나 무척이나 현란한 3D 액션을 보여준다. 다만 갈수록 떨어져 간다는 것이 대체적인 평. 총 4부로 기획되어 있다. 1부(롤링 타운 편): 1~7화에 해당. 무대는 롤링 타운. 주인공인 단에 의해서 바스쿼슈라는 스포츠가 탄생하는 과정을 그리고 있다. 2부(로드!로드! 편): 8~15화에 해당. 아이돌 그룹인 에클립스가 첫 등장하여 연애물 성격이 추가되었다. 초반에는 단 일행의 유랑기였지만 OCB 대회가 열리면서 개최지인 터빈 시티를 무대로 해서 진행된다. 3부(언더그라운드 편): 16~19화에 해당. 2부와 4부를 연결해주는 역할에 가깝다. 4부에 대한 떡밥을 뿌리는 내용. 무대는 지하도시인 언더그라운드. 4부(전설 리그 편): 20화 이후에 해당. 쉽게 말해 제임스 론과 얀 해리스의 계획이 실행되면서 그것을 중심으로 스토리가 진행된다. 쉽게 말해 클라이맥스. 무대는 스카이블룸 왕국이다.

故事背景設定在宇宙某處擁有月亮的行星「阿斯達修（暫譯，アースダッシュ）」，月球上擁有高度科技發展的都市「穆尼斯（暫譯，mooneyes）」對於阿斯達修的人們來說，象徵了夢想與希望，並且時時刻刻的嚮往著前往月球。而在阿斯達修上有著能夠進行各式用途的機器人，人們也熱衷於駕駛機器人進行的籃球比賽「BFB」。 主角「丹（暫譯，ダン）」的妹妹由於機械人引起的意外導致雙腳不便行走，因此他對於「BFB」的競賽有著相當程度的反感，並且想著要帶妹妹前往月球醫治雙腳。這樣的丹偶然間遇上了一位少女，同時也初次駕駛了機器人，之後對於能夠自由奔跑、跳躍的感覺無法忘懷的丹，終於去現場看了 BFB 的競賽，而一切的傳說就從這裡開始。

Dan ist ein rastloser Junge, der eigenhändig eine Revolution auslöst, eine sportliche Revolution in „Basquash“, einer Art Streetball, das mitten in der Stadt mittels Robotern gespielt wird, die „bigfoot“ genannt werden. Dan wird dabei von einer ganzen Gruppe von Leuten begleitet, bei denen Einer abgedrehter ist als der Andere. Neben Dan, der einen Groll gegen die „BFB“, die offizielle Basquash-Vereinigung hegt und maskiert Unruhe stiftet, finden sich in der Gruppe noch Sela, ein Mädchen, das auf der Suche nach dem vollkommenen Menschen ist, Iceman, ein unergründlicher Charakter mit zwei Gesichtern, Haruka, der Coach mit großer Oberweite und Flora, eine Prinzessin in spe, die eine besondere Leidenschaft für das Leben der einfachen Leute hegt. Gemeinsam erleben sie auf dem Planeten Earthdash fantastische Abenteuer und wollen dabei vor allem Eines, Spaß haben.
