赤塚不二夫没後10年に合わせ、赤塚の娘・りえ子による同名小説をドラマ化。優しくてシャイな“バカ”の天才・不二夫を玉山鉄二が演じる。ハチャメチャな漫画を描き、ハチャメチャな生活を送る、家庭では駄目な父親・不二夫が、なぜ多くの人に愛されたのか、彼の考える“家族”のあり方を描く。共演は比嘉愛未ら。
