Soldiers are engaged in training and developing weapons for the fight against the Titans. One day, Izuru is sent from the Public Security Command Bureau and meets Hange who has been researching the ecosystem of the Titans. She is secretly advancing studies on the Titans in her own research lab. Developing an interest in Hange, Izuru infiltrates the lab and learns that a Titan which was successfully captured, is sequestered in there.
Les soldats sont engagés dans l'entraînement et le développement d'armes pour la lutte contre les Titans. Un jour, Izuru est envoyé par le Bureau de commandement de la sécurité publique et rencontre Hange qui a fait des recherches sur l'écosystème des Titans. Elle fait secrètement avancer les études sur les Titans dans son propre laboratoire de recherche. S'intéressant au Hange, Izuru s'infiltre dans le laboratoire et apprend qu'un Titan, qui a été capturé avec succès, y est enfermé.
