Attack on Pearl Harbor: Minute by Minute explores the attack on Pearl Harbor from the planning stages to its execution. The season includes three episodes that cover key moments in the attack: E1: Countdown to War (43 minutes) Japanese forces plan the attack on the US naval base in Hawaii, and one of the last living Japanese survivors is interviewed for the first time. E2: Massacre (44 minutes) Heroes like Doris Miller go above and beyond, but a mistake by the Japanese air attack leader almost derails the mission. E3: Declaration of War (43 minutes) US pilots get airborne ahead of the second wave of attacks. As the Americans realize a second wave is coming, they prepare anti-aircraft guns and launch planes.
