Jack tells a stunned Carly that he found out the story behind the newspaper picture and it meant nothing to him. Jack pretends he doesn't know who the man in the photograph is and he's not concerned. But Carly presses the issu, and Jack realizes Carly knows the photo was of Winston Lowe and Julia. Jack tells her it doesn't matter if Julia tipped off Winston or not, since Carly lied about being married in the first place. Carly insists they would be married right now if it weren't for Julia. Jack declares it doesn't matter; he has forgiven Julia and he doesn't love Carly anymore. He walks away, leaving Carly shattered. A desperate Lily turns to Tom for help at Simon's hearing. She's stunned when Tom realizes Lily's talking about the same man that Katie was thinking of marrying. Agent Halliwell comes to the police station to find out if Margo knows where Simon is. Lily and Tom arrive and convince Margo to come with them to stop Simon and Katie's wedding, not realizing that the INS is on their trail. Katie steals a suit from Craig and returns to the Old Mill, where Simon has been hiding. Jennifer and Bryant have arrived for a little romance, which a hiding Simon had no choice but to see. Katie announces to Bryant and Jen that she and Simon are getting married. Threatening to reveal Bryant's relationship with Ruby to Jennifer, Katie coerces them to be witnesses at the wedding ceremony. Bryant drives them to the courthouse, where Lily, Tom and Margo are waiting. Tom and Margo try to convince Katie this is a mistake, while Lily begs Simon not to go through with this. Simon tells Lily he's marrying Katie because this is the only way he can stay close to Lily. Lily doesn't think Katie is the answer. The judge enters and asks if the couple is ready to be married.
