Off his talk with Jessica, Marshall goes to Barbara to ask her to testify against James. She refuses. Meanwhile, James arrives for questioning about his possible involvement in Brandys murder. He assumes Marshalls support and is surprised when Marshall reveals that he intends to put Stenbeck on trial for the kidnapping of the three women. Marshall compounds his threat by lying - he claims that Barbara will be his star witness. Buoyed by Weiskopfs promise to testify against Julia, Jack and Carly head to Julias hearing. Concerned when Weiskopf doesnt show, Jack goes to look for him, leaving Carly with instructions to stall. At Julias apartment, Jack finds Weiskopfs lifeless body. Holden tells a disbelieving Hal of an eyewitness who can prove Aaron didnt set the fire. Hal, convinced of Aarons guilt, sets off alone to find him. Craig and Holden, sensing Hals a loose cannon, hope to find the kids before he does. Alisons sick and the kids bring her to a bus station to get warm. Lucy hocks a precious keepsake to get money for medicine. Aaron cozies up to Alison to keep a cop from spotting them. In the end, Alison feels better, but, once again, watches Aaron and Lucy with envy.
