The scouts are in Sequoia National Forest to face competitors with something to prove: Lee, a former Marine; Paul, who feels guilty for dropping out as a teen and David, who left scouts three badges shy of an Eagle Scout. The first challenge pits adults against scouts. They must face a bridge rappel before rafting down Class Three rapids. After one adult goes home, the competitors must prove they can pitch a tent.
