Have you ever heard of Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring? What about Tobal no. 1? How about Final Fantasy 7? Well, they all tie together, and have I got a story for YOU. WOW! No but seriously, working on this video has been a treat, and I hope that you guys enjoy it as well. I figured I would try and uncover a little piece of Squaresoft's history, even if half of it is something I made up. I dunno, you tell me if I'm crazy.
The Bomberman franchise is really underrated, but Bomberman 64 was a turning point in the series. I want to show you the impact that it had on the franchise, and how important it was at the time. So this is my 1 year anniversary video. I can't believe I've been at it for an entire year, and I hope to keep going on for more and more!
A year has come and gone, and I've gone ahead and singled out 6 of my favorite indie titles to grace us during this summer season. But this time, with my good buddy Todd of Rated S Games. The process of this coming together was a long and fun one that went really smoothly. You'll notice a change in sound on my live action mic as well as a different backdrop. Things have been changing and chaotic in my life, but I still wanted to bring this video out for everyone's sake. Indie games are rad!
AKA - Ganbare Goemon, Innovation and Small Details. So, the Mystical Ninja franchise, aka Ganbare Goemon is a totally overlooked one in my eyes. In fact, I think that this Nintendo 64 game may have really influenced one of the most beloved games of all time, Ocarina of Time. Sorry it took so long on this one. Change in life style, etc etc. There will be more frequent updates. Also sorry for the shaky cam at times. I ended up not having time to reshoot one or two specific scenes because my beard has been growing back. Oh yeah, no beard in this one. LIES.
Sonic Boom is bad, we all know this. But I sat down with BalrogTheMaster to try and figure out why, and what it could have done better. Concept vs. Execution. Also hi everyone! This is the first video of the 2014 Advent Calender! I'm doing it again, there's gonna be all kinds of people this year, it's gonna be great.
And with this comes the conclusion of the Month of Final Fantasy! This is a bit of a passion project of mine. I've been drumming for more than half of my life at this point, and when I met Ace and Josiah in the past year I knew some day I'd beg them to do something for me. Turns out we all had something in mind. We decided to take the Overworld themes from Final Fantasy 7, 9 and 5 and toss into a giant beast known as the Final Fantasy Overworld Medley. But, I prefer calling it "Marching to the Beat". Why? All of these massive songs have such grand feel, one that jumps between major and minor scales. Upon reaching these overworlds for the first time, (especially in Final Fantasy 7 and 9) you're greeted to the outside, a brand new adventure. All you can do is carry on. 5 is here because we like it and wanted to pull off some Rush-Esque stuff.
It's time for more bad games. ANIME GAMES. I'd say some of the worst anime games. It's possible that I've reached a new low, but it's also possible that the world is endangered. There are too many bad anime games on the loose, and I've gotta share. Also I needed an excuse to talk about a few of these things so here. Yeah.
Alright guys! This is the 50,000 Subscriber special! I HOPE YOU DIG IT. Sonic Clones, Sonic Rip-Offs, YOU KNOW THE DRILL. What's a Sonic Clone? Let's find out! No one is safe, my friends. And each one of these games is similar to Sanic! For the most part. Idk watch the video. Also, sorry for the ending. I decided screw it and well. You'll see.
It's finally time. Persona 5 is here, and we're gonna get into it. Persona 5 is finally out, like 50 years later and on the PS4, but was it worth the wait? Spoiler alert, yea, but it's so much more than that. I sincerely hope you enjoy this video. Persona 5 spoke to me pretty profoundly, and I want to share that feeling with you.
Yakuza for the PS2, or as it's know in japan Ryu Ga Gotoku is one heck of a strange game. Kazuma Kiryu and Majima's quest for Bitcoin sure is the best. It may not be Shenmue, hell it may not be a fancy schmancy Nintendo or Microsoft property... But this Sega property sure brings the thunder. And the offensive language. PART 1 OF I GUESS LIKE 8?
Danganronpa, also known in some countries Hinata's search for Despacito 2 is a fantastic anime video game. This Playstation based Visual Novel turned franchise turned hitmaker is one of Spike Chunsoft's most beloved gaming series and I'm here to tell you why you too should get in on it. This Retrospective will go into as much detail as I, some American dude can do without having a ton of bitcoin to cash in for a plane ticket.
Today we're gonna sit down and review the classic film, Space Jam. Starring Bugs Bunny and All-Star NBA player, Michael Jordan. This Looney Tunes crossover fanfic AU WB made film sure does... exist in some weird half cartoon half live action netherworld. It's also the prequel to my favorite video game, Charles Barkley Shut Up and Jam Gaiden so yeah. Here is to Space Jam 2 starring James Lebron.
Dragon Ball Z has a soft spot in my heart and is one of my favorite shows and anime in general. However, Legacy of Goku is... something a little different. I'd love a Switch Port of the second and third GBA games though. With the new Broly movie coming out in a few months I felt the need to catch up and play a bunch of DBZ games, so here's the first of what is probably gonna be a lot of videos with this kick tbh. Also Piccolo best dad.
It's time for my Top 10 Best Co-Op Games! I've always enjoyed a good ol fashioned cooperative game, and with all these brand new Switch games coming out with co-op stuff I figured hey, let's talk about some of my faves. Plz do not be mad because it is mean and you know like hey, it's okay to have a differing opinion.
Sonic Clones. Sonic Rip-Offs. Games that are REALLY similar to Sonic the Hedgehog. Austin here with another memetastic Nintendo Switcharooniedoonie Clones video! You know, me, the OG guy. I swear it was me. This time we're diving back into Sonic The Hedgehog because why not? Oh also this is my 5 year anniversary video for some reason. Forgot about that one.
It's time to talk about some Bad Nickelodeon and Nicktoons Games. Spongebob, Rugrats, Avatar, Jimmy Neutron, the works. I've been wanting to dive into this for a while and NOW WE CAN THANKS TO THE POWER OF NOT SLEEPING. Hope y'all are digging the frequent uploads. This is only possible thanks to the power of Patreon!
Animal Crossing is coming to the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019 so it's time to talk about the clones! The rip-offs, the imitators! Isabelle is the best and so are you for watching and reading this. I love you.
Dragon Ball Z, GT, Super, it doesn't matter, we got video games. Good and Bad Dragon Ball video games have existed since the dawn of time, and because of that I've complied a list of some of the worst. Obviously I can't cover every single DBZ game in one video though so a part 1 will have to do for now. I still need to play Xenoverse but I'll have to pick that one up on the Nintendo Switch.
Parasite Eve 2, the sequel with mixed reception. Austin decides to put down Pokemon on the Switch and make a followup video WAY faster this time. Also hey, it's still Square Enix Month. Whoops.
Final Fantasy IX came out on the Nintendo Switch not too long ago and we made a video on it. Now through the power of bitcoin and memes plus like 2 months, I bring you the second half of my thoughts. Also Final Fantasy XIV is real fun. FULL GAME SPOILERS IN THIS VIDEO, BE CAREFUL.

Austin is bringing you the ultimate Beginner and Starter's Guide to Final Fantasy. Which is best? Which is Worst? Since almost all of these are on the Nintendo Switch you should be able to make a decision REAL EASY.
2019's about to end, and 2020s swinging in tough! But it's time to crack open that Nintendo Switch or PS4 and dig to the bottom of the barrel. It's time for the Worst and Most Disappointing Games of 2019.
Konami's had a rough life. But before their lack of games on the new gen, they were pumping out Frogger, Contra, Castlevania's and one offs like you wouldn't believe. Rocket Knight on Nintendo Switch please. Here's a bunch of forgotten, obscure and weird Konami games!
Animal Crossing New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch is coming up, and I CALLED IT, so I'm shamelessly putting out a sequel to that video. But this time, we dig deeper. MUCH deeper.
The Simpsons, Street Fighter 2, Virtual On... Primal Rage? Video Game Arcades in the 1990s were a bit of a Silver Age, but that doesn't mean there weren't a ton of awesome games! While some might get ported to the PS4s and Nintendo Switches, not all of em do. However, here's a brief history/super biased look at games I played as a kid!
The Playstation 5 and Xbox... (Series... S?) are on the way, and so come a new batch of launch titles! While not every console can have a delicious feast like the Nintendo Switch and Dreamcast, some consoles have... the worst you can imagine. This is about those.
The Licensed Video Game is in a renaissance period. Gone are the Superman 64's and Marky Marks, and in are the Power Rangers, Jurassic Park and Terminators. Oh wait nothing's changed. Except the quality! Today we're gonna talk about some of your more "modern" or new licensed games of the last few years.
Pokemon Spin-Offs Games are a dime a dozen. From the N64 to the Gamecube all the way to the Nintendo Switch, you can always rely on the Pokemon Company to give us all kinds of ways to enjoy those Pocket Monsters. Today, Austin looks at a few of em.
I played Final Fantasy 7 Remake, I sat on it for weeks and I'm finally able to express my thoughts in this review. FULL SPOILERS BY THE WAY. Cloud Strife's here, Aerith Gainsborough's here, Tifa Lockhart's here! Yuffie? Ehhhhh. Maybe next time.
Forgotten Licensed Anime Games! You might recognize the series, but I bet you forgot about the games. Series like Dragon Ball Z, Inu-Yasha, Astro Boy or even Vampire Hunter D have their fans and followings, but I'm not so sure that one Beyblades video game does. IF IM WRONG, COME AT ME BRO.
Garfield Video Games exist. From the NES all the way to the Switch and PS4, there is no escaping Garfield and Friends on their bitcoin mining adventures. Austin takes a look at over 30 years of Cursed Garfield Video Games. That's right, I talk about every single retail release. Help.
If anyone's played Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon or Story of Seasons, you know what to expect here. Except maybe inject a tiny bit of Slay the Spire and 300% cuteness and you get the VERY WHOLESOME Ooblets! As I state in the video I was extremely surprised that they wanted to sponsor the channel considering I was already like 10 hours deep into my own file, but here we are!
Welcome to the first episode of a series I'm calling Life After a Dream! A collection of what happened to Sega after the fall of the Dreamcast. We'll be covering every console in the future, starting today with Sega's venture onto their formal rival, the Nintendo Gamecube!
It's Bad Cartoon Games! Nickelodeon, Disney, Cartoon Network, Spongebob, old or new, it doesn't matter! It's time for a free for all for those games that don't belong anywhere else. Least of all in any of your consoles.
Tony Hawk finds himself in a hairy situation of unrealistic expectations and the bated breath of millennial nostalgia, but still pulls off the perfect kickflip. Watch me review Tony Hawk as he does a Boneless on his skateboard over my heart. THPS 1+2 on the PS4 and PC is one heck of a task, BUT DO THEY PULL IT OFF? LETS FIND OUT GAMERS.
After the Dreamcast was finished, Sega and Sonic popped on over to other consoles. Ninendo, Playstation and the Microsoft Xbox would all get a piece of the pie! Join me as we check out all of the best AND worst Xbox exclusives by Sega!
Dark Souls! Demon's Souls! Bloodborne?? Anime? It's Clone and Rip-Off time once again! From Software's Dark Souls series might only have one game on the Nintendo Switch, but the PS4, PS5 and Xboxes got Soulslikes for days! Let's review a few of em!
It's time to check out the obscure, weird and forgotten Nintendo Wii Games! The new Xbox and PS5 are almost here, but let's go back a generation. It'll be a good time.
We're back with more Bad Nickelodeon and Nicktoons Games. Spongebob, Rugrats, Avatar, Jimmy Neutron, You know the drill! This time I've around the deepest depths and found the worst games I could. The absolute WORST Nick games you could think of. Help.
With Resident Evil Village on the way I figured it was time to face my fears and dive deep into some RE Clones! We've yapped on about Parasite Eve and others before, but we're taking this from the PS5 allll the way back to the PlayStation 1! Resident Evil Clones and Rip-Off time!
Sword Art Online Video Games are BACK BAYBEE. This time around, Alicization Lycoris is the latest one to sock it to me. Unfortunately, this one might... be the worst one yet. Let's find out! Imagine how bad a Nintendo Switch version would be? Playing it on the PS5 was bad enough!
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch now has CLONES AND RIPOFFS BABY. It's not often we get clones of a game as new as this, but 2020 has given us the WORLD. And... a bunch of other things too.
2020 has ended, FINALLY. 2021's here alongside the PS5, the Xbox Series X and... I guess the Nintendo Switch is still around as well. But today, we're taking one more look back at some of the worst and most disappointing games of 2020. And oh boy, there's a LOT.
I've been meaning to talk about Square-Enix's Playstation 1 classic, Legend of Mana for a long time now. It's one of those really weird but memorable JRPGs that's gonna be on the Switch soon so that's cool.
Balan Wonderworld for the PS5, Nintendo Switch and whatever is a game that I just sank way too much time into. I've done it. I might enter the Wonderworld myself sometime soon.
It's not Balan Wonderworld, it's time for Fan Translated Video Games and Rom Hacks! That means all the Mother 3, Final Fantasy and various Nintendo, Sega and PlayStation games you can think of. Lil bit of Shin Megami Tensei here, lil bit of Tenchi Muyo there. I tried my best to talk about the grassroot beginnings and how things are going today.
Today I'm going to play Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind on the PC, and we're gonna like it.
It's time for Forgotten Playstation Vita Games! I love the Vita, who doesn't? People who are WRONG.
It's time for Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, the SNES JRPG that's NOT on the Nintendo Switch or... anywhere really. It's time to watch Benjamin's quest for crypto turn into a Playstation 5 search... idk, just give me Final Fantasy on console please. I miss the old gam.
It's finally time. Bikinis, Zombies, awful credit unions, samurai swords, no nintendo switch consoles and HORRIBLE, BAD AWFUL VIDEO GAMES. It's finally time for the Oneechanbara Retrospective! Starring, YABOI.
Final Fantasy XIV or FF14, whatever you want to call for the Playstation 5 and NOT Nintendo Switch (rip) has really come into it's own lately and kind of become one of my favorite games. Not only has it revived the MMORPG concept for me personally, but I think it's doing a LOT for the genre as a whole. Especially because of all of the unfortunate happenings with World of Warcraft and Activision Blizzard at the moment.MAYBE ONE DAY I can set off sailing with Alphinaud for the bloated seas of cryptocurrency but for now, the moon will do.
Today it's Forgotten and Obscure Capcom Video Games! Things not on Nintendo Switch or PS5 thats for sure. Capcom's VERY long history as a games publisher has given us a ton of games over time, and there's bound to be tons of them lost to time. Here's a handful.
Devil May Cry Clones! They exist, apparently, all the way from the PS2 to not the Nintendo Switch for some reason. But there's a lot of games that tried to mimic the style of DMC and I think a lot of them succeeded!
VIDEO GAMES! Wrestling Video Games do exist outside of WWE, you know. Be it WCW, ECW, NJPW or whatever combination of promotions, there's good, bad, obscure and forgotten wrestling video games all over the place. COME ONE, COME ALL TO THE WORLD OF WRASSLIN'.
It's time to enter the wonderfully awful world of Bad Marvel and MCU video games! We're going into some of the worst and most comicbook superhero games you can imagine! And yeah, I played AS MANY as I could. New generations all the way to old generations, all Nintendos, all Playstations. Not the Dreamcast though. Poor Dreamcast.
It's time for Dragon Ball Z. DBS, DBGT, you know the drill. Let's all hop along together for Goku and his friend's massive action RPG bitcoin journey throughout the entire Z Saga. One that... I went all too thorough with. Am I ok? Probably not. Btw played on a PS5, though the Nintendo Switch version looks aight.
Today I'm joined with Gridan to play Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes for the Double Anniversary Event! Go check it out!
Forgotten Games! Starring the Nintendo Switch's Great Grandfather, The Nintendo 64! No Mario or nfts today.
Ratchet & Clank Clones DO exist. The Forgotten 3D platformers of yesterday compiled into one little video! Who wants to bet the next R&C will involved the two Playstation icons destroying all NFTs and bitcoin crypto. I am sad.
It's TIME for the Worst and Most Disappointing Video Games of 2021, and it's Fast and Furious time again. The only thing worse than these games might be NFTs.
There's a trilogy of licensed games that I've always been fascinated by and now's the time to talk about it! Activision has a controversial history, especially as of late. But their licensed games are definitely some to be missed. Before crypto, we had Korra, TMNT and Transformers!
Here we are in 2022 and I'm talking about James Cameron's Avatar - The Games. Plural because theres 5 of them. 5 totally different games all sharing the exact same branding that released on the same week. SO, HERE WE GO. Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Mobile x2 LETS GO.
It's time for Bad DC and Batman Games! Be it comics, movies, or cartoons these old superheroes have been in MANY video games... and well, I decided to sweep the bottom of the barrel. Why? Because I have weird taste. So join me for licensed comic book games from the NES all the way to today! No Switch though. They got better after Arkham, weird.
Forgotten Sega Dreamcast games! This ain't Nintendo, this ain't Playstation 5, this ain't Elden Ring. We're going back and looking at one of my favorite video game consoles ever because I'm a weirdo who needed a bit of extra time with a Babylon's Fall video. Please enjoy the Eggs of my labor??
Babylon's Fall for the Playstation 5, 4 and PC. I've done it, I've gone and beat the whole game and almost all of the first season because VIDEO GAMES. No but seriously, this one of the most challenging videos I've done in a hot minute becuase the sheer scope of the story slowly opening up. I'm sure it's going to continue to evolve, but I hope you enjoy what I made so far.
Bad Games in Good Series. Your DMC2, Dragon Age 2's. From the 80s to now with the PS5! It's not too uncommon for a gaming franchise with a lot of prestige to accidentally end up with a stinker, and that's exactly what this is about. Is this an excuse for me to talk about Phantasy Star? Maybe??
Grand Theft Auto 5 is the second highest selling game of all time, but that makes sense considering PlayStation 3, PS4 and PS5. Rockstar's really been milking this thing for generations now, haven't they? Well, there's hardly been any Clones in the mean time, but for years there were! I know not all of these are forgotten. But Youtube likes sensationalism so I'm sorry. Also I think Vice City is my favorite.
Good Disney Video Games! From the 80s to today, there's always been licensed Walt Disney video games. On every Nintendo, Playstation and Xbox you can think of. PS5 one day! No more bad! Well, I decided since we have tackled the bad ones that we'd do a long awaited video and dive into some good stuff. I think we've been... playing the no fun stuff lately, so it was time to enjoy the good.
From the NES to the Playstation 5, Switch and Xbox, rare games becoming liquid assets that hypebeasts treat like crypto or NFTs and that totally sucks. No one should have to pay more than original retail for a video game but HERE WE ARE. SO I'm taking a look at a few the Rare and Expensive and even obscure video games that have caught my eye in recent times. Emulate, baybay.
Forgotten and Weird Games! This time starring Sony's PlayStation... 3! Not the PS3, no Nintendo Switches and definitely no dumb NFTs, we're all about games, some of which DEMAND physical discs.
Konami, Metal Gear Solid and Hideo Kojima. A Playstation original trio made... well, not in heaven these days. Love me some metal gear as most do, but I decided that I wanted to really find out what Metal Gear Survive is. NOT played on my PS5 though because those trophies are nightmare. *May or may not be a "true" 100 percent but Youtube like sensationalism so i sry
Fake Anime Video Games, or also Western Games with a Japanese Anime influence! From Nintendo to Microsoft, from PS5 to Nintendo Switch, the "How to Draw Manga" almost bootleg style has left an impact. Nowadays it's nearly impossible to tell the origin of art comes from, but in games you can! Let's just say, they don't make em like this anymore...
Diablo Clones and Rip-Offs!! Now that Diablo IV is on the way, time to dig into Action RPGs of all sorts. As new as PS5 or as old as... Windows 95, there's been Diablo Clones just about as long as there's been Doom Clones. And you KNOW me saying this is gonna upset someone, but real ones know it's an all encompassing term that can be "inspired by", "ripped off" or "video gamed". Idk its late i've been up all night please enjoy this video that is NEARLY 40 MINUTES LONG.
Marvel, Sega and video games! The MCU is getting old like the PS3. No PS5 games though? You'd think with the Marvel cinematic universe and superheroes being as high grossing as it is that we'd get more video games on them, but that's unfortunately not really the case. Avengers, anyone? But once upon a time, we did. This is about that. A self inflicted retrospective.
We got PS5s, Xboxes, the Nintendo Switch and I still can't play Kirby's Air Ride or Mario Galaxy 2 on modern consoles. What's with that? There's countless titles now inaccessibly on modern hardware, and that's not fun. Digging out an old xbox only for the disc drive to fail and the signal to look extremely dark or crunchy isn't ideal, and it's crazy we don't have a lot of these games on things made in the 21st century.
The Nintendo Gamecube has a smaller library of games, but still has a lot of cool gems and forgotten obscurities that time's leaving behind. LET'S DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT.
Horror Video Games... for Cowards. Happy Halloween! No matter the system, Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch or Xbox whatever, scary, spooky, horror games have always been there. But some of us ARE Afraid of the Dark. Like me. So I made this video chronicling a bunch of games for the easily startled that you should check out and share with your weaker friends. We'll appreciate it, I promise.
AAA, Triple A video games, whatever you wanna call it have become a slowly disappearing thing after being so wildly mainstream for a while. Be it on your Xboxes, Playstations, Nintendo Switches (if you wanna call that AAA), these big fancy expensive money eating multi-year productions were a huge part of the entire culture. You go to e3, you see the thing, you enter the hype machine, you maybe pre-order, who knows.
Which is best? HD Unleashed? Unwiished? The third man? Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Frontiers, it doesn't matter the console... Sega's Blue Mascot has graced the Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox but his weirdest adventure is now best on a console like 5 of you own. Or maybe it's the Wii Version? I won't spoil. The Werehog is divisive figure and I've gone as deep as possible into all three games entitled "Sonic Unleashed" Let's do it.
Sony's God of War franchise and the latest God of War Ragnarok is a PlayStation staple, and from the PS5 all the way back to the PS2, Kratos has been around, slicing dudes up and having a good time. BUT his adventure through mortality, child rearing and like... life itself have gotten itself some clones, copycats and inspirations. This is about those!
It's again time for the Worst and Most Disappointing Video Games of 2022, this time with Battle Passes, the birth of NFTs, the Nintendo Switch running on it's last performance legs and you bet your sweet thing I mention Babylon's Fall.
Sony's Playstation 1 is one of the most influential and highest selling video game consoles of all time. But it's also got one of the deepest libraries out there. THAT MEANS we got all kinds of Forgotten and Weird Vidya games to tackle, and you know I'm up for the task. I'm also extremely tired.
Batman: Gotham Knights for that Playstation 5 is a game that got nearly universally panned when it released 4 months ago. And because I'm silly, I decided that OF COURSE, I would go and 100 percent the dang thing. Here's Gotham Knights and the DLC 100% so you don't have to. Also the comic. There's a comic book.
Celebrity Tie In Video Games are kind of a lost art. We used to see famous people getting their own video games ALL THE TIME, but now not so much. Be it Britney Spears, 50 Cent, Dwayne the Rock Johnson or even more obscure ones, there's been licensed celebrity games rolling around since the 80s. So uh. I kinda decided to go through as many as I could???
Delisted Video Games being a thing is really sad, especially when bigger titles totally disappear from stores making you work hard just to play. But on the PS5, Switch and new Xbox, a game vanishing from digital store shelves is now uncommon. It's bizarre that I can put Minecraft AND Metal Gear Solid 3 HD on this thumbnail, cause it's actually true? btw this is specifically digital stores, don't get mad please. ANYWAYS, I decided to recount as many delisted games as possible, JOIN ME!
Video game prices are getting CRAZY. From the Nintendo Entertainment System to the PS5 and Switch, you're able to find things going for SEVERAL THOUSAND real easily. Gotta love that reseller hypebeast culture, giving us graded copies of stuff that is actively dumb. Look no one should pay THAT much for a Sega 32X Game. NO ONE.
Mojang and Microsoft's Minecraft is WILDLY popular. Every console, Switch, PS5, Xbox, PCs everywhere have this thing. The Survival Crafting Genre of games has taken off like crazy and it's all thanks to this little thing. SO here's a video about the Clones, the Ripoffs and the Alternatives to Minecraft that have come out over the last... uh, 14 years. That's too much.
Microsoft's Xbox 360 was THE Seventh Generation console to own. Despite it's... many many flaws, it's got an insane library filled with modern classics AND now tons of Forgotten Gems and Weird oddities. The console is also 18 years old now which means I'm turning into dust.
AAA Video Games are a mixed bag. Doesn't matter the generation, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Ps4, Xbox... You're always gonna end up finding something like a Redfall. Bad and Unfinished AAA Games are in some cases, becoming the norm, and that's no good.
Sometimes popularity fades. Series on the Super Nintendo or Genesis did NOT make it to the PS5, Xbox or Switch and that's a huge shame. I'm sure we've all got ourselves a franchise or two that we hold near and dear, but they don't always keep up with the trends. You can't tell me F-Zero doesn't deserve a come-back. YA CAN'T.
Disappointing Games deserve a second chance. From retro consoles to modern with the PS5 and Nintendo Switch, there's always that one release that sticks in the back of your mind. What do you think deserves a remake? PERSONALLY, I think a lot.
Marvel Comics and Video Games. A match made... somewhere? From the 80s with the NES all the way to modern times with the Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch, there's been Licensed Marvel video games throughout all of gaming. 40 years in fact! SO this here's a deep dive into some of the... less notorious of the bunch. Considering there's well over 100 of these, we've got our work cut out for us.
Reality Television might be bad? Trash? From Survivor to Gordon Ramsay's million shows, these shovelware video games have been on EVERY console. Nintendo? Playstation? You bet. So I decided to play as many as I could. Is it all of them? Probably not... but I tried my best.
The Nintendo DS was the strange successor to the Game Boy and I think it's aged like a fine wine. It's library is massive and I think it's a good time to go back and look at the pre-predecessor to the Nintendo Switch.
Marvel Comics, The Avengers and Square-Enix. Three big names, and a sad commercial failure. Now that it's all out, I figured I'd pop this thing into my PlayStation 5 and give it a rip. Like, ALL of it. The Squeenix Trilogy is complete... except they keep releasing weird stuff so maybe it'll be a quadrilogy who knows.
We've seen countless video games, but what about the prototypes that didn't quite make it? From the old school Nintendo to more modern Playstation consoles and PCs, there's TONS of Cancelled and Unreleased Video Games to talk about. Thanks to the many many unsung leakers out there, y'all are heroes (or villains to some??)!
So Bad, It's Good, Guilty Pleasures, terrible janky games that you love. Be they on PlayStation or Nintendo consoles, these "classics" have been a staple of gaming for decades. At least until recently. The chance you'll drop in on some AA or AAA nonsense is a lot lower these days, it almost feels like a Lost Era.
Now that there's a brand new Mortal Kombat on the PS5 , Nintendo Switch and other platforms, I figured it was time to take a look back at the EXTREMELY VAST world of Mortal Kombat Clones! Klones? However you wanna say it. I still can't believe this thing is on Switch, do people not remember the Krypt? WILD.
Be it Batman, Superman, The Justice League or whoever else, DC Comics and Video Games have never been a made match. PS5 games? Nah. BUT, my latest kick has been weird mid 90s DC comics like Green Lantern, so I decided to turn that into a full video cause why not. I sure miss mid tier licensed games.
From the NES to the PlayStation 5, Switch and Xbox, rare video games outlasted Crypto and NFTs and that's hilarious. More specifically, BAD Video Game's have gone increased in value dramatically and the idea of Action 52 being half a grand is hilarious. BUT ALSO TRUE.
Delisted Video Games will always make me sad, especially when massive AWARD NOMINATED titles disappear from stores. But that's just how it be with the new Ps5, Switch and Xbox digital era. Games are becoming more temporary and that sucks. Anyways, don't play Jump Force.
The PSP / PlayStation Portable was awesome, Sony's handheld was the closest anyone ever got to sharing the space with Nintendo's Game Boys and DS(es) and I love the thing. Anyways it somehow got around 2000 games, SO HERES A BUNCH OF ONES TIME MIGHT HAVE FORGOTTEN.
Bad and Terrible Video Game Remakes have been stinking up the place for a while now. Worse than the original? SURE. From the PS5 to the Switch and whatever, you can play decades of awful remakes ALL in the palm of your hand without any kickback. But why? If anything, it's probably cause you're a weirdo like me.
Advertisement Video Games are a very specific brand of suck. They're 9/10 times made for one thing only... uh, advertising. CAN WE FIND A GOOD ONE? LET'S FIND OUT!
No matter the year, you can always expect terrible, awful, no good very bad video games. 2023 has some of the worst AND most disappointing games in recent memory. YEAH, WE TALK ABOUT KONG. I should have played Switch Kong instead of PS5, that would have gone hard.
No matter the console or generation, Clones and Rip-Offs have been around trying to chase that money. Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, IT DON'T MATTER. You ever played a Crash Bandicoot clone? How about Cuphead? This here's a video for all the one or two-offs that won't fit in a regular video.
Sony's PlayStation 2 wasn't just a popular console, it was THE biggest thing in the 2000s. Which ALSO means it's got a vast library of video games, some of which are barely talked about on the net. For every banger there's at least 50 forgotten and weird ones and this is a few.
Doesn't matter if it's the PlayStation 5, the NES or even earlier, retro video games have been getting more and more expensive every year. Somehow people are treating these things like crypto, NFTs, AI Art or whatever the heck grifters are peddling these days. But anyways, even if they're rare they deserve to be covered, SO HERE WE ARE. No copies of Marvel vs Capcom 1 for the PlayStation 1 were bought in the making of this video... I.... promise.......
Doom Clones have been around and a phrase for over 30 years. From old PCs, to consoles, your Nintendo Switches and PlayStations it don't MATTER, in the 90s you couldn't escape Boomer Shooters. It may not be used as a moniker as much these days but I just can't believe I didn't tackle this one sooner.
Dragon Ball Z, Super, GT, it doesn't matter. Akira Toriyama's seminal classic Shonen Anime and Manga is one of the most legendary pieces of fiction on the planet and it's time to dive into the good games. No more silly bad things, I want good meaty experiences that are fun, over-the-top and take me back to the 90s. From the NES to the PlayStation 2, Gamecube, PS4, PS5 and even Nintendo Switch, there's been DBZ video games for generations!
Now that the Dust has settled, Volition's Saints Row 2022 is fully "done" and I need to get all them PlayStation 5 trophies. ALL OF THEM. After well over a year of updates, patches and expansions, I figured it was time to give the game a fair shot ALL so you don't have to. Or maybe you should? YOU TELL ME.
Bad Sequels are all over the place. Movies, Video Games, Music even? A terrible or bad game coming in the form of a followup is rare but it's been happening since the old Nintendo days to now with the PS5. Am I still mad about FF13? Not so much, but I can recognize stinky when I see it.
If there was ever a 100% that shouldn't have been shared with the public, it's this one. BUT I DID IT. Stellar Blade is a LOT more rounded than what appearances may be even if some aspects come off as flat. Did I spend hours reading random datalogs and putting together pieces others wouldn't care about? YEAP. This PlayStation 5 Exclusive (for now) has a lot going on.
