Dikmen, bağlama çalan bir Ankara sanatçısıdır. Müzikhollerde çalışırken bir menajerden teklif alır. Patronuyla tartışıp teklifi kabul eder ve İstanbul'a gider. Dikmen'in hala oğlu Latif İstanbul'da yaşamaktadır. Latif ve ailesinin yaşadığı evin yarı hissesi Dikmen'e aittir. İstanbul'a büyük umutla gelen Dikmen menajer tarafından dolandırılıp bütün parasını kaybeder. Bu yüzden ortağı olduğu evde kuzeni Latiflerle kalır. Ancak Tilbe'nin Dikmen ile yaşamayı kabul etmesi imkansızdır.
