When Riko and Rimu return from the basketball game they promised to have with their classmates, Ken and Tamao, they find a cute kitten that their mother, Haruka, was keeping for Fuko, a veterinarian. After chasing the kitten, Lyla, around the house, Riko and Rimu enter the dark attic and find something very strange and cute on the old sofa.
