Meanwhile, the rest of the gang attempts to reconstruct what they believe to be an early ancestor of Dodo's. / Gnu becomes volunteer scout leader to c-squad, the most unorganized, accident-prone, inefficient bunch of young wilderness scouts in training. Gnu's task is made all the more difficult by the late addition of an eager new recruit: Eugene.
