The 100th Birthday of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, one of the oldest railroads in the U.S., is celebrated in style as we follow the 1977 Chessie Steam Special. The film begins with the restoration of the former Reading Railroad Baldwin-built (1945) 4-8-4 T1 class locomotive in the Huntington Shops.
