Junichi, Kaoru, and Masayoshi head to the library to see the new Library committee member, but cause a ruckus there until Ai scolds them. Junichi later offers to teach Ai maths upon learning she’s taking makeup exams. While both of them are taking a break, Ai asks Junichi on what to do with her younger brother, Ikuo, since Junichi acts childish just like him. When Junichi is about to tell Ai his advice during lunch, he unintentionally offends her when he and Miya talks about Sae’s breasts. Junichi later apologizes, even humiliates himself in front of Ai and the swimming team on what he said and entering the school pool without permission. At the beach, Junichi tells Ai to spoil her brother a bit since he just wants her attention. As thanks, she gives Junichi a Inago Mask utility belt, a gift that originally was for his brother. Instead, he teaches her how to use the belt and gives it to group of young boys. That night as she goes to sleep, Ai realizes she likes Junichi.
可愛い図書委員がいると聞きつけ放課後図書室にきた純一たちは、数学の追試を受けるために勉強をしにきた逢と出会う。数学なら教えられると、そのまま純一は逢の勉強をみることになった。勉強を始めて少したった頃、逢は小学生の弟に手を焼いていることについて純一に相談をする。
Junichi, Kaoru y Masayoshi se dirigen a la biblioteca para ver al nuevo miembro del comité de la biblioteca, pero causan un alboroto allí hasta que Ai los regaña. Junichi luego se ofrece a enseñarle matemáticas a Ai al enterarse de que está tomando exámenes de recuperación. Cuando Junichi está a punto de decirle a Ai su consejo durante el almuerzo, involuntariamente la ofende cuando él y Miya hablan sobre los pechos de Sae. Junichi luego se disculpa, incluso se humilla frente a Ai y el equipo de natación por lo que dijo y entra a la piscina de la escuela sin permiso. Como agradecimiento, le da a Junichi un cinturón de herramientas Inago Mask , un regalo que originalmente era para su hermano. Esa noche, mientras se va a dormir, Ai se da cuenta de que le gusta Junichi.
Junichi, Kaoru et Masayoshi se rendent à la bibliothèque pour voir le nouveau membre du comité de la bibliothèque, mais font du grabuge jusqu'à ce qu'Ai les réprimande. Junichi propose ensuite à Ai de lui enseigner les mathématiques lorsqu'il apprend qu'elle passe des examens de rattrapage.
