تدور أحداث الفيلم حول شاب يدعى هشام خليل يعمل محررًا رياضيًا في إحدى الصحف ومحللًا تلفزيونيًا ، ويختار الزواج من دون استشارة والدته ، وهو الذي يتحكم في الأب ويضطر بعد إنجاب التوائم إلى نقله إلى منزل قريب من عائلته ، وذلك بسبب «الباب في البابا» يتدخل مباشرة في حياته ويستقبل المشاكل الزوجية بين الأم والزوجة ويضطر الزوجان للتدخل.
