เมื่อ "แม่พิศ" โอปปาติกะสาวแสนสวยที่สิงสถิตย์อยู่ในแหวนหัวพญานาคต้องปฏิบัติภารกิจเพื่อทำให้ "วิศิษฎ์" นักวิชาการหนุ่มอนาคตไกลกับ "แพรวพรรณ" สาวสวยมาดมั่น ชายคนรักและน้องสาวฝาแฝดของแม่พิศในอดีตชาติสมหวังในรัก แต่ความใกล้ชิดระหว่างแม่พิศกับวิศิษฎ์กลับก่อเกิดเป็นรักต่างภพที่ยากจะฝืน ขณะเดียวกันแพรวพรรณก็ถูกแม่กดดันให้แต่งงานกับเศรษฐีหนุ่มนามว่า "บรรจบ"
