  • S01E01 Australia

    • January 1, 2012

    Adventure Golfer Ian Cross heads home to his native Australia. He begins in Sydney at Moore Park Golf Club, found next door to the Sydney cricket grounds. Ian plays with teenage sensation Skye Choueiri-Solly who is destined to land on the pro circuit. From public to private, Ian's next stop is the Royal Sydney course, where the administrators refuse him access.

    Adventure Golfer Ian Cross travels to Bali, the Island of 10,000 Temples, to discover some of the most stunning golf courses in the world & experience the culture & heritage of the Balinese people. Ian starts his trip at Le Meridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort & finishes the trip to Bali with a Balinese New Year celebration which sums up the spirituality, hospitality & culture of Bali & its people

  • S01E03 Dubai

    Ian Cross travels to Dubai a city that has been transformed from desert into a bustling metropolis. Glittering skyscrapers have replaced the palm huts that were typical just 40 years ago. Dubai is famous for its gold, the only seven star hotel in the world & its six world class golf courses. Golf is booming in Dubai & whether you're a golfer or not Dubai is a really exciting place to be.

    Florida has over a thousand golf courses making it a true golfing mecca. Ian Cross starts in Miami where he stays at the fabulous & historic Biltmore Hotel and plays its newly renovated course. After checking out its famous beaches he hitches a ride on an airboat out in the Everglades. Then it's onto Orlando, the state's golf capital where Ian goes behind the scenes at the Bayhill Invitational

  • S01E05 Japan

    Ian Cross travels to Japan. Here he discovers some of the world class courses on offer. First up he visits Ishioka Golf Club. Back in Tokyo, Ian hits a baseball game before finding out what one stadium is used for in its spare time. Ian plays a beautiful mountain course at the foot of Mount Fuji, Gotemba Golf Club. Finally, he travels to the east coast where he visits the Phoenix Seagaia resort.

    Malaysia is often overlooked by travelers, and particularly golfers, but this is set to change. Its great climate, stunning and varied scenery, low travel costs, and friendly multicultural population is being embellished by world class resorts, hotels and courses which makes for an exceptional golfing experience.

  • S01E07 New Zealand

    Ian Cross travels to New Zealand, where there are more sheep and golf courses per capita than anywhere else in the world. Starting his trip up in the North Island, Ian heads to the course at Cape Kidnappers, a peninsula named by Captain Cook. Afterwards he joins a river safari on the Dart River, where he checks out some of the spectacular locations used in the Lord of the Rings filming.

    France is the most visited country in the world. Adventure Golfer Ian Cross arrives from across the English Channel to discover courses set to the backdrop of fairytale chateaux's, and alongside war torn battlefields. He begins in seaside town Le Touquet, home to two 9-hole courses appropriately named Le Foret, set amongst the trees, and La Mer, set beside the water.

    Ian Cross travels to the ultimate golfers' destination - a country renowned for its beauty, independent spirit and, best of all, its hundreds of golf courses - you guessed it; welcome to Scotland! Ian stops off at the Edradour distillery to find out about the processes involved in making Scotland's favorite tipple, whiskey, which has been distilled here since 1825.

    On a whirlwind tour of this amazing island Ian discovers the diversity of golf courses, people, history, food, architecture & cultures that collide head-on to make up the melting pot that is Singapore. Playing courses ranging from Sentosa to Laguna and the Ria Bintan. In between these golfing excursions Ian checks out the world famous Raffles Hotel, China-town and Little India.

    Ian Cross journeys to a great undiscovered destination for the intrepid traveler & golfer alike, South Africa. First up the Hans Merensky Golf Club where you can quite literally combine the country's number one attraction, safari, with golf. Ian comes face to face with giraffes & zebras! Ian takes a ride to the vineyards of Stellenbosch to indulge in one of his favorite pastimes, wine tasting!

    Ian Cross travels to Southern California, the most populous & ethnically diverse state in the United States, which also offers some of the most varied golfing experiences in the country: from parkland to desert to seaside courses. He starts his journey at the La Quinta resort & stops at Alisal Ranch where you can combine your love of golf with all the activities you'd expect at a working ranch

  • S01E13 Southern England

    • January 1, 2012

    One of the most passionate golfing countries in the world, the south of England offers a multitude of golfing experiences. Ian Cross heads for the famous Stoke Park Club. Just off the mainland lies the scenic Isle of Purbeck Golf Club. A detour to London offers golf with a difference. One of the traditional homes of the Open Championship lies on the Kent coastline. Also a visit to Canterbury.

  • S01E14 The World's Top 10 Golf Resorts

    Host Ian Cross takes a look back at the top ten courses he's had the pleasure of playing. He begins at the edge of the Kalahari Desert, where he's joined by PGA major champion, and hometown hero, Nick Price. Ian finds paradise tucked along the fairway in Bali, and off the coast of Singapore. It's an incredible look at the upper echelon of one of the world's biggest pastimes.
