Ade’s adventure starts in Brixham where people have been fishing out of the town since as far back as 1406 and by 1850 it was the largest fishing port in England. He joins a crew on-board one of the town’s surviving heritage fleet and finds out about the huge impact the trawlers had on the town and the lives of the locals. He then takes a 40-mile helicopter ride to Eddystone Lighthouse which was in 1698 and was the world’s first lighthouse built on a rock at sea.
