Six months after the unfortunate events in Kurain Village, the dynamic duo of Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey look to give little Pearl Fey a memorable night of fun at the circus with it's various attractions; including world famous flying magician Maximillion Galactica! Although the night goes well, trouble rears its ugly head a few days later in the form of murder and Max is the prime suspect! At Maya's insistence Phoenix takes up the case, but unlike his previous cases where the defendants were generally amicable or liked well enough by their peers; Max has seemingly managed to get on the bad side of just about everyone under the big top!
