Blue, one of the colors of the Colombian flag, symbolizes the sky, the rivers and the two oceans that border the country's coasts. Blue represents beauty, but also prosperity. It is the color of the salt cathedral in the small town of Zipaquirá and of the traditional costume of the Guambianos and it is a symbol of resistance against the Western world. But it is also the color of a very special museum, the MuMar, which is located at a depth of twenty meters in the bay of San Andrés, also known as the sea of the seven colors.
Blauw, een van de kleuren van de Colombiaanse vlag, staat symbool voor de lucht, de rivieren en de twee oceanen die grenzen aan de kusten van het land. Blauw staat voor schoonheid, maar ook voor welvaart. Het is de kleur van de zoutkathedraal in het kleine stadje Zipaquirá en van de traditionele klederdracht van de Guambianos en het is een symbool van verzet tegen de westerse wereld.
