64 Zoo Lane

Emma bor på Abevej 64 - og her er naboerne ikke helt almindelige! Emma bor nemlig lige ved siden af en zoologisk have, og her er dyrene altid parate til at fortælle en spændende godnathistorie fra deres tid på Afrikas savanne.

The series follows a 7-year-old girl named Lucy who lives next door to a zoo at 64 Zoo Lane. Each night, she is told a story by the animals. Characters include Georgina the Giraffe, Nelson the Elephant, Tickles and Giggles the Monkeys, Boris the Bear, and Molly the Hippopotamus. The programme emphasizes friendship and responsibility. At the story's end, friendly morals are discussed, then bedtime is declared. Georgina deposits Lucy into bed via the bedroom window (later episodes show Lucy yawning and then sleeping soundly in bed; in the original episodes she would be lulled to sleep by the storytelling itself). Opportunities for learning: exploring language and vocabulary are enhanced by the use of intonation and expression in the character's voices and the themes of the animals' stories support social and emotional issues, including friendships and helping and caring for others.

Lucie est une petite fille habitant le 64, rue du Zoo. Tous les soirs, son amie Georgina la girafe vient la chercher à la fenêtre de sa chambre, et les autres animaux se regroupent au sein du zoo autour de Lucie pour lui raconter une histoire de la vie sauvage des animaux.

Elke avond kruipt Loesje haar bed in voor het slapengaan. Maar niet voor lang… Elke avond opnieuw glijdt ze langs de nek van Bettina de giraf de dierentuin binnen. Daar komt ze terecht bij haar vrienden van de dierentuin. En elke avond is er wel iemand anders die een leuk verhaal te vertellen heeft voor het slapengaan. Loesje komt zo de gekste dingen te weten van de dieren! Na het verhaaltje stopt Bettina de giraf Loesje weer onder in bed en is het tijd om te gaan slapen.

Lissi bor i Dyrestien 64 like ved en zoologisk hage. Hver kveld banker sjiraffen Georgina på soveromsvinduet. Lissi står opp og sklir ned sjiraffens lange hals for å møte naboene sine.
