安乔（万潼 饰）出国深造学成归来之后加入了秦男（郑沛琳 饰）和陈贝贝（周家宇 饰）所在的白鸟报社。林寒（万沛鑫 饰）是慈善家林逊的儿子，市内接连出现了五起扑朔迷离的凶杀案，巧合的是，被害者都和林逊有着千丝万缕的关联。 经过缜密的调查发现，这一切都指向了二十年前的卧底警察丁建安被害身亡的案件，而丁建安的女儿正是安乔，在这个节骨眼上，安乔竟然失踪了。原来，安乔此次归国正是为了调查父亲被害一案的幕后真相。警方将怀疑的终点放到了安乔的身上，而秦男和陈贝贝都坚信，凶手另有其人。安乔的真正目的是什么？她的复仇大计又能否实现呢？
