자신의 아들을 지키기 위해 돌이킬 수 없는 일을 저지른 송판호. 대연항 총격 사건의 용의자로 김강헌의 장남 김상혁이 붙잡히고, 장채림은 송판호와 검사 강소영을 동원해 우원을 무너트리려 한다. 송판호는 김강헌에게 김상혁의 무죄를 약속하고, 장채림에게서 정보를 입수하려 하는 와중에 장채림이 실종된다. 장채림을 대신해 수사를 이어가는 강소영은 이상택 가족 사망사건에 언루된 강헌의 아내 마지영을 붙잡고, 김강헌은 마지영의 불구속 수사를 판호에게 지시한다.
