新春期間，每家每戶都會為團年、做節花盡心思，希望炮製最窩心、美味的菜式，與親朋好友共享。 「保哥」黃亞保、「三姐」蕭秀香、祈積奇(Jacques)三位「星級」大廚，帶領一眾藝員，到訪潮州、順德、客家、福建、上海、山東、四川、廣東等地方菜代表，從烹製過程中切磋交流，還會品嚐代表推介的新春名菜，包括「潮州圍爐」、「上海暖窩」、「八仙過海」、「水煮海鮮宴」、「佛跳牆」等，吃盡各地的家鄉風味。
