「生きること」も「死ぬこと」もできず、自殺の名所『志手の岬』から徒歩５分にあるオーベルジュ・ギルダを訪れた幸田すもも。店主の夕雨子の言葉を受け、 店員の息吹やシェフの膳と共に、住み込みで働くことになる。最果ての地のオーベルジュだけに、訪れる客はそれぞれに事情を抱えている。 『不倫報道でバッシングされている女優』『定年退職した日に離婚を突き付けられた男』――彼らは滞在を通して“生きること”に気がつき、再生してゆく。その様子を目の当たりにし、すももの心境にも変化が生まれる。 しかし彼女は、夕雨子の秘密を知り――!? 崖っぷちのオーベルジュで紡がれる、悲劇と喜劇のヒューマンドラマです。
