福山リョウコの同名漫画を、奥野壮の主演で連続ドラマ化した学園ラブコメディー。限られた青春時代を限りなく無駄に過ごす仲良し男子高校生4人組の恋と友情をコミカルに描く。奥野が演じるのは、高校では絶対に恋をしないと誓う少女漫画オタクの仁科。底抜けに明るいおバカなマヤ／真山深（水沢林太郎）、極度の面倒くさがりの不思議キャラ・シロ／各務ましろ（小西詠斗）、超鈍感な志田葵（藤岡真威人）と無形文化遺産代行保存部、通称・無駄部を立ち上げ、日々くだらないテーマを真面目に検証してSNSにアップしている。そんな彼らが恋に落ちる相手として、AKB48・小栗有以、寺本莉緒、鶴嶋乃愛、大谷凜香が出演する。
