In this episode, team captains Linzi and Vicente each hope to lead their team to victory among the trees at Glenlude in the Scottish Borders. The teams are challenged to turn their felled spruce into something that will assist the many groups that are helping to rewild these woodlands. However, as the experts struggle with their timber and the sun beats down, can the teams stand the blistering heat as they look to shave, cut and fashion their timber into something spectacular and win over today's judge?
In this episode, the teams visit the most northerly woodlands in mainland Scotland. Dunnet Community Woodlands have trees in danger of being blown over by the biting coastal winds, and the teams are challenged to transform them into something that will benefit the large number of locals who love these woodlands. However, with winds threatening the safety of the site, will the teams manage to complete their 24-hour challenge, and who will win the coveted Golden Axe?
The teams are on the shores of Loch Goil in Cormonachan Community Woodlands. They must use their woodworking prowess to transform their timber into interactive works of art that will engage the locals and tourists who visit the area. Team Linzi are hoping to create a ‘musical woodland', while team Vicente are attempting an abstract art sculpture inspired by the local wildlife. But as the clock ticks down, will the teams manage to finish their ambitious projects, and which one will win the competition and the coveted Golden Axe?
