개구쟁이 소년 두치와 강아지 뿌꾸가 인간이 되고 싶어하는 괴물 큐라(드라큘라)와 미라 그리고 늑대인간 리노와 함께 벌이는 모험!! 1000년 전, 심령학자인 마빈 박사는 세계를 정복하기 위해 귀신들을 잡아서 마법 항아리에 넣는다. 1000년 후에 다시 태어나야 할 그 귀신들은 사고로 인하여 999년 후 불완전한 인간의 모습으로 마법에서 풀려나게 된다. 이에 두치와 뿌꾸는 마빈 박사의 음모에 맞선다.
