カンベク財団のソン監督にスカウトされたカン･ホヨン。親友のマンボクを頼りにソウルへ来たホヨンは、アイドルを目指してアメリカから来たマンボクのいとこであるジナに出会う。ショートトラックの皇帝と呼ばれるパク･ウノを相手に互角の勝負を繰り広げたホヨンは、テストに合格して正式にカンベク財団の選手として練習に合流することになる。
