הסדרה, שעתידה לחשוף את אחורי הקלעים של תעשיית המוזיקה המזרחית, עוסקת במסעה של טופז זמרת מתחילה ממוצא מזרחי שחולמת להצליח נגד כל הסיכויים בעולם הזמר המזרחי הלא-פשוט. מנגד, טופז נאלצת להתמודד אף עם סבתה, זוהרה (אוולין הגואל), שאינה מתלהבת מכך שנכדתה תצליח, ובתגובה מנסה להצר את צעדיה.
