十年前，顾川（任嘉伦饰）遭遇了一场重大的车祸，因植入机械心脏才得以幸存，但从此以后不能激烈运动、不能有喜怒哀乐，无法像普通人一样正常生活，原本性格开朗的顾川对行尸走肉般的生活渐渐失去了信心。十年后，顾川与好友许诚然（刘芮麟饰）共同创立的川建筑设计工作室成为业界翘楚，作为首席设计师的顾川，在众人眼中是设计天才，更是冷血的“蜥蜴先生”。顾川原本计划实现愿望清单后就结束生命，却在即将完成清单时遇到了姜小宁（邢菲饰）。姜小宁十年前失去双亲，其父更是背负偷工减料、贪污公款的罪名含冤而去，从此她被冠以“乌鸦小姐”的恶名，与姑姑、患有阿尔兹海默症的奶奶相依为命。机缘巧合下，姜小宁成为顾川的助理，其积极乐观的生活态度逐渐动摇顾川结束生命的决心。顾川在帮助姜小宁完成学业和梦想的同时，重新寻回对生命的热情和希望。

Gu Chuan is a passion-filled, vibrant young man with his whole life ahead of him, until his life is turned upside down by a sudden traffic accident.
