仲の良い双子の姉妹・小早川流風と流水は陸上部の先輩である当麻克之に同時に恋をしたが、克之が選んだのは流風だった。双子といえど、違う人間である二人はいつかは別々の道を歩まなくてはいけない。これが最初の一歩だと二人は感じた。 送別会としてハイキングに出かけた女子陸上部の面々は、雨宿りで入った古墳の中で壁が崩れた途端に異臭を感じて倒れる。皆が息絶えていく中で、双子だけが生き残った。
