大萧国公主陈朗月痴迷建筑工事偷跑出宫，并加入了天才都料匠李清风创立的木羽工匠队并相知相爱的故事。几个性格迥异的大萧少年为了各自心中的理想而聚集在一起，共同改造着一个个奇异而有趣的建筑。吵架拌嘴鸡飞狗跳，时而彼此温暖互相扶持，他们经历曲折艰险，改造着建筑也改造着自己的内心，最终木羽院的每一个人都得到了属于自己的成长与归宿。
