30年前に滅ぼされた魔王が突如、復活した。
当時、魔王を倒した勇者ら“光の騎士”たちは再集合するが、30年という時が彼らを弱体化させていた。世界に平和を取り戻すべく、新たな勇者を求め、山里（仲野太賀）らは試行錯誤を始める。そんな中、平凡で内気な医療事務の京子（芳根京子）が、新たな勇者に任命されてしまう。世界を救うという大役を背負わされてしまった京子は、訳も分からず、魔王討伐に向かうのだった…。
The Demon King, defeated 30 years ago, suddenly returns. The once-heroic Knights of Light reunite, but age has weakened them. In search of a new hero, they unexpectedly choose Kyoko, a shy and ordinary medical office worker. Confused but determined, Kyoko sets off to defeat the Demon King and save the world.
