An operation in Acapulco looks like it will be a large take-down but the trafficker could only produce two girls. A decision must be made to move forward with only two or wait to try again another day.
After the operation in Boca Chica, undercover operatives are sent, at the suggestion of the DR Government, to the city of Puerto Plata on the northern coast. A team sets up a party and take down the traffickers.
Working with the Columbian CTI, a trafficker is discovered who is planning a hotel to traffic children. When the case is opened several other opportunities arise and a total of three different take-downs are planned.
This was the largest child trafficking rescue ever completed. The sting involves 60 CTI officers, the Columbian Navy, and 40 soldiers.
