ゲンタは赤ちゃんがなぜ生まれてくるのかを知りたかったが、篠塚先生や両親に聞いてみても誰も教えてくれない。だが、あまりにもゲンタがこだわるので、ゲンタの父は苦し紛れに「自動販売機で買った」などと言い出した。もちろんゲンタには信じられなかったが、いつの間にか公園に「赤ちゃん販売機」が設置されていて――。
Genta wanted to know why the baby was born, but when he asked Dr. Shinotsuka and his parents, no one would tell him. However, Genta was too insistent, so Genta's father distressingly said something like, "I bought it from a vending machine". Of course, Genta couldn't believe it, but before he knew it, a "baby vending machine" had been installed in the park.
