Love Sculpture feat. Dave Edmunds, The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger & The Trinity, Canned Heat, The Vanilla Fudge, Harmony Grass and Amen Corner, The Tremeloes

On first glance, this appears to be an episode lacking in quality talent, but it's anything but that. The incredible live performance of Sabre Dance by Love Sculpture, featuring the virtuoso guitar of Dave Edmunds, is worth the price of admission by itself. The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band are back, with their Elvis parody, Canyons of Your Mind. Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger & The Trinity perform the jazzy Road to Cairo, and there's a music video of Canned Heat doing Going Up the Country. There's a very dreamlike underground film featuring music by The Vanilla Fudge. Harmony Grass and Amen Corner enjoy their fifteen minutes of fame, and The Tremeloes are back, covering Bob Dylan's I Shall Be Released. There's really no reason for Leapy Lee to be on this show. Root & Jenny Jackson, Billie Davis, and Barry Ryan also appear, and there's a featurette on The Troggs and an interview with Marmalade in there, too.
