高劍是江東市檢察院特別檢察官，嚴格謹慎的性格不容許一點瑕疵，新助理傅小柔的加入給辦公室帶來活力，同時牽扯到江東龍頭企業江東集團的工程貪腐案件也接踵而至，高劍等人與江東集團董事長鐵榮光鬥智鬥勇，粉碎了利益鏈條背後的陰謀。鐵榮光在監獄自殺兒子鐵力雖然和高劍等人是多年的好友，但也無法釋懷，離開江東。高劍公訴的案件中依然存留著蛛絲馬跡是與江東集團有關，而就在一起非法集資案件中發現鐵力又回來了，他在全力追查逼死父親的真凶。亦正亦邪的較量由此展開，最後將幕後大佬繩之以法，高劍在似乎不近人情的法理面前毅然選擇了維護正義，與此同時也收穫了感情
