どこにでもいるごく普通のサラリーマン・須田民生（濱津隆之）は、日々の生活の中で様々なストレスを感じていた。そんな民生の唯一の楽しみは、絶滅しそうなメシ“絶メシ”を求めて旅に出ること。 期限は、金曜の帰宅後から妻と娘が好きなアイドルグループのライブ遠征から帰ってくる土曜日の夕方まで！誰も誘わない・誰も巻き込まない・予算はお小遣いの範囲内で！をモットーに “絶メシ”を求め日本全国を車一つで駆け回る！中年サラリーマンの週末限定一泊二日の小さな冒険が今始まる…！
